In short: the app does not require an account and we do not collect your workouts, history or settings. They are stored on your device. Ads are provided by Google AdMob, which may collect device identifiers as described below. Purchases are processed by Google Play.
Who we are
This policy applies to the Android app Interval Timer: HIIT & Tabata (package com.temasky.intervaltimer.hiittabata), published on Google Play by TemaSky, the trade name of TEMA SKY BİLİŞİM Ltd., Adana, Türkiye (“TemaSky”, “we”, “us”). For privacy questions, contact us at CONTACT_EMAIL.
Information stored on your device
To work, the app saves the following data locally on your phone. We do not have access to it and it is not sent to our servers (we do not operate any servers for this app).
- Workouts you create: names, exercise names, work and rest times, rounds and sets.
- Workout history: date and time, workout name, duration, work time, whether it was completed, and an estimated calorie value.
- Settings: voice, sound and vibration preferences, get-ready time, and the body weight you enter. Body weight is used only to estimate calories on your device.
- App state: whether you finished the introduction, reminder scheduling, the number of completed workouts and app opens (used to decide when to show the rating prompt), and your Pro status, including whether a promotional code was redeemed on this device.
Voice announcements are produced by the text-to-speech engine installed on your device. The app only sends the words of each cue (for example “Round 2 of 8. Squat.”) to that engine.
Device backup
If Android backup is turned on for your Google account, your saved workouts, history and settings may be included in your device backup and restored when you reinstall the app. This backup is handled by Google under your Google account settings, and you can turn it off in your device settings.
Advertising (Google AdMob)
The free version shows ads from Google AdMob. Ads are not shown while a workout is running. To serve and measure ads and to prevent fraud, Google and its partners may collect and process information such as:
- the advertising ID and other device identifiers;
- IP address, which may be used to estimate your approximate location;
- device and app information (model, operating system, app version, language) and ad interactions;
- diagnostic data about ad performance.
If you are in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or Switzerland, the app asks for your consent through Google’s consent message before personalized ads are requested. You can change your choice at any time in Settings › Ad privacy choices. On any Android device you can reset or delete your advertising ID in the system settings (Settings › Privacy › Ads, or Settings › Google › Ads).
Google’s use of this data is described in How Google uses information from sites or apps that use its services and the Google Privacy Policy. Pro users do not see ads.
Purchases (Google Play Billing)
Pro plans are sold through Google Play. Google processes your payment details; we never receive your card or bank information. The app receives only the purchase status from Google Play so it can unlock Pro features and restore them on your devices. Subscriptions can be managed or cancelled in Google Play › Payments & subscriptions.
Ratings (Google Play In-App Review)
After you have used the app a few times, it may show Google Play’s rating window. Your rating and review are sent to Google Play under your Google account and are subject to Google’s policies; the app does not see what you submit.
Notifications and sharing
- While a workout runs, the app shows a notification with the time left and controls. It also schedules two local reminder notifications during your first days (between 12:00 and 21:00 local time). These are created on your device; no push notification service is used.
- When you share a workout code, a result or the app link, the text is passed to the app you choose (for example a messaging app). We do not receive it.
Permissions

The app does not access your contacts, photos, files, microphone, camera or precise location.
Children
The app is intended for a general audience aged 13 and older and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided personal information through the app, contact us and we will help remove it.
Data retention and deletion
- You can delete your workout history in History › Clear and delete workouts from the home screen.
- Uninstalling the app, or clearing its storage in Android settings, removes all data stored on the device.
- Data collected by Google for advertising or payments is retained according to Google’s policies and can be managed at myaccount.google.com.
Security
Data is kept in the app’s private storage, which other apps cannot read on a standard Android device. Communication with Google services is encrypted in transit.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, including under the EU and UK GDPR, Türkiye’s Personal Data Protection Law (KVKK) and US state privacy laws such as the CCPA, you may have the right to access, correct or delete personal data, to object to or restrict processing, to withdraw consent, and to lodge a complaint with a data protection authority. Because we do not hold your data on our side, most requests can be completed directly on your device as explained above. For anything else, contact us and we will respond within 30 days. We do not sell your personal information.
International transfers
Google may process data collected through AdMob and Google Play in countries other than yours, using safeguards described in Google’s privacy policy.
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy, we will update the effective date above and, for significant changes, tell you in the app or in the Google Play release notes.
