Privacy Policy
1. Who we are
Shift Work Calendar (the “App”) is published by TemaSky (TEMA SKY BİLİŞİM Ltd., Adana, Türkiye) (“we”, “us”). This policy explains what information the App handles, why, and the choices you have.
In short: the App has no sign-up and no servers of its own. Your shifts, pay settings and notes are stored only on your device. Advertising and purchases are provided by Google.
2. Information stored on your device
The App stores the following locally, in its private app storage:
- Your shift types, rotation patterns and calendar entries (overtime, leave, notes)
- Pay settings you enter (salary or hourly rate, multipliers, tax mode, leave allowance)
- App preferences (reminder on/off, onboarding status, number of app opens)
- A partner schedule, if you choose to add one
We do not receive or have access to this data. If Android backup is enabled on your device, this data may be included in your device backup to your Google account, as provided by Google.
3. Partner sharing and exports
- Partner sharing: when you tap “Send my code”, the App creates a text code on your device containing the name you typed and your shift days (colors and days off) for the next 30 or 90 days. It is shared only through the share method you choose, and only with the people you send it to. Anyone who has the code can view that schedule.
- Calendar and Excel export: .ics and .csv files are created on your device and handed to the app you select through Android’s share sheet.
- Add to calendar: the App opens your calendar app with the shift details filled in. The App does not read your calendar.
4. Advertising (Google AdMob)
The free version shows ads served by Google AdMob. To serve and measure ads, and to prevent fraud, the Google Mobile Ads SDK may collect and process:
- Device identifiers, including the Android advertising ID
- IP address and approximate location derived from it
- Device and app information, ad interactions and diagnostic data
Where required (for example in the EEA, the UK and Switzerland), the App asks for your consent through Google’s User Messaging Platform before personalized ads are shown. You can change your choice at any time in Settings → Privacy and ad choices (shown where applicable). You can also reset or delete your advertising ID in your device settings.

Premium users do not see ads.
5. Purchases and ratings
- Subscriptions and lifetime purchase are processed by Google Play Billing. We do not receive your payment card details. The App only receives confirmation of which plan is active.
- Promo codes are checked on your device. No code or personal data is sent to us.
- In-app review: the App may show Google Play’s rating dialog. Your rating and review are handled by Google Play.
6. Notifications and permissions
| Permission | Why it is used |
|---|---|
| Notifications | Evening reminder for tomorrow’s shift, and occasional tips on day 1 and day 3 after install (only between 12:00 and 21:00 local time). All notifications are created on the device. |
| Internet and network state | Loading ads and processing purchases. |
| Billing | Google Play in-app purchases. |
| Advertising ID | Ads served by Google AdMob. |
The App does not request access to your location, contacts, camera, microphone, photos or calendar.
7. Data retention and deletion
There is no account to delete. Your data stays on your device until you remove it. To delete it, uninstall the App or use Android Settings → Apps → Shift Work Calendar → Storage → Clear data. You can remove a partner schedule at any time in the App. Data processed by Google is retained under Google’s own policies.
8. Security
App data is kept in the App’s private storage, which other apps cannot access on a standard Android device. Communication between the Google SDKs and Google’s servers is encrypted in transit.
9. Children
The App is a work-scheduling tool intended for adults. It is not directed at children under 13 (or the minimum age required in your country), and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
10. Your rights
Depending on where you live (for example under the GDPR, UK GDPR, Türkiye’s KVKK or California’s CCPA/CPRA), you may have rights to access, correct, delete or object to the processing of personal data, and to withdraw consent. Because we do not hold your App data on our servers, most requests can be met directly on your device as described above. For data processed by Google, please use Google’s tools at myaccount.google.com. We do not sell your personal information.
11. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The updated version will be posted on this page with a new effective date.
