Speed Test: Network Proof ("the app") is developed by TEMA SKY BİLİŞİM Ltd. ("we", "us"). This page explains what the app does with data. In short: the app has no accounts, no login, and we do not run a server that receives your measurements. Your test results stay on your device unless you choose to share a report.
The app stores the following locally, in its private app storage:
We cannot read this data. It is deleted when you uninstall the app, and you can erase it at any time in Settings › Delete all measurements. Records older than approximately 400 days are removed automatically.
| Service | What it receives | Why |
|---|---|---|
| Speed measurement servers (currently Cloudflare) | A normal internet connection from your device, which necessarily exposes your IP address, and the transferred test data | To measure download, upload, ping and jitter. No personal information is sent with these requests. |
| Connectivity check endpoints (Google and Cloudflare) | A small connection request | To detect whether your internet connection is up or down |
| Google AdMob | Advertising ID, device and ad interaction data | To show ads in the free version |
| Google Play Billing | Purchase and subscription status | To sell and restore Premium and the ad-free purchase |
| Google Play In-App Review | Review interaction handled by Google Play | To let you rate the app without leaving it |
These services process data under their own privacy policies: Google (AdMob, Play Billing, Play Review) and Cloudflare.
The free version shows banner, interstitial and optional rewarded ads from Google AdMob. In the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland, we ask for your consent through Google's User Messaging Platform before personalised ads are used, and you can change that choice at any time in Settings › Ad privacy options. You can also reset or delete your advertising ID in your Android settings. Buying Premium or the one-time "Remove ads" product turns advertising off.
| Permission | Purpose |
|---|---|
| Internet, network state | Running speed tests and detecting outages |
| Notifications (Android 13+) | Outage alerts, low speed alerts and reminders; optional |
| Run at startup | Restoring background monitoring after the phone restarts |
| Advertising ID | Used by AdMob in the free version |
The app does not request location, contacts, camera, microphone or file access.
PDF and CSV reports are generated on your device and saved to the app's private cache. They leave your phone only when you share them yourself, for example by email or a messaging app. Anything you put in a report — including your name and subscriber number — goes to the recipient you choose, not to us.
The app is not directed to children. It is rated for users aged 13 and over and we do not knowingly collect data from children.
Because we hold no personal data on our own systems, there is nothing for us to export or erase on your behalf. You control your data directly: delete it in Settings, or uninstall the app. For data held by Google or Cloudflare, please use their own privacy tools. If you are in the EEA or the UK, the lawful basis for advertising is your consent, and for the app's core functions it is the performance of our agreement with you.
Network requests use HTTPS. Data on your device is protected by Android's app sandbox. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we keep the amount of data involved as small as possible by design.
If this policy changes, the new version will be published on this page with a new effective date. Significant changes will also be mentioned in the app's release notes.
