This Privacy Policy explains how Find Phone: Clap & Whistle (the "App") handles your information. We built this App to respect your privacy: it works almost entirely on your device and does not require an account.
The App uses your microphone to detect claps, whistles and voice commands so it can sound an alarm and help you find your phone. This detection happens entirely on your device, in real time. The App does not record, save, or upload any audio. No sound leaves your phone.
If you enable the optional "only my voice" feature, the App creates a mathematical voice signature and stores it locally on your device only. It is never uploaded and is deleted if you clear the App's data or uninstall the App.
The free version shows ads through Google AdMob. To serve ads, AdMob may process a device advertising identifier and standard technical data. This is governed by Google's policies. You can learn more and manage choices here:
Purchasing any Premium plan removes ads.
Premium subscriptions and the one-time lifetime option are processed by Google Play Billing. We never see or store your payment details; they are handled by Google.
With your permission, the App may send local reminder notifications (for example, helpful tips or feature reminders). These are generated on your device. You can turn them off any time in your system settings.
The App is intended for a general audience and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Because the App does not collect personal data on our servers, there is nothing for us to retain. Any on-device data (settings, optional voice profile) is removed when you clear the App's data or uninstall it.
