Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how Vyno: Video Player All Format (the "App", "we", "us") handles information when you use it. Vyno is a local media player: your videos and music are played directly from your device and are never uploaded to us or any server. We do not require an account and we do not host your media.

1. Information We Do Not Collect

• We do not collect your name, email, phone number, or contacts.
• We do not upload, copy, or transmit your video/audio files, thumbnails, or subtitles. Media access stays on your device.
• We do not maintain user accounts and we do not store your content in the cloud.

2. Information Processed on Your Device

• Media library access. With your permission, the App reads video and audio files on your device to list and play them. This data is processed locally only.
• App preferences & local state. Settings (theme, language, playback options), a locally generated random identifier, playback/resume history, and premium status are stored on your device (Android DataStore). This information stays on your device and is not sent to us.

3. Information Collected by Third-Party Services

The App uses the following Google services, which may collect data under their own privacy policies:

• Google AdMob (advertising). The free version shows ads. AdMob may collect your advertising ID, IP address, and device/usage information to serve and measure ads (including personalized ads where permitted). See Google's policy: policies.google.com/privacy and AdMob data disclosures.
• Google Play Billing. Premium purchases are processed by Google Play. We do not receive or store your payment card details.
• Google Play services (In-App Review, Install Referrer, Cast/Chromecast). These may process limited device information to provide their functionality.

4. Permissions We Request

• READ_MEDIA_VIDEO / READ_MEDIA_AUDIO / READ_EXTERNAL_STORAGE — to find and play your videos and music.
• INTERNET / ACCESS_NETWORK_STATE — for ads, casting, and optional network/URL streaming.
• POST_NOTIFICATIONS — for playback and reminder notifications.
• FOREGROUND_SERVICE / FOREGROUND_SERVICE_MEDIA_PLAYBACK — to continue audio playback in the background.

5. Ads

The free version is supported by ads served through Google AdMob. You can remove ads by purchasing Premium. Depending on your region, you may be asked for consent for personalized advertising, and you can reset or limit ad tracking in your device settings.

6. Children

The App is intended for users aged 13 and older and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided data through a third-party ad service, please contact us.

7. Data Retention & Security

Preferences and local state remain on your device until you clear the App's data or uninstall the App. Third-party services retain data according to their own policies. We use reasonable technical measures to protect information the App handles, but no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.

8. Your Rights

Depending on your location (e.g., EEA/UK under GDPR, California under CCPA/CPRA), you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or restrict processing of your data, and to opt out of personalized ads. Because we do not hold personal data ourselves, most requests relate to the third-party services listed above; you may also clear the App's local data at any time via your device settings.

9. International Users

Third-party services may process data in countries other than your own. By using the App you acknowledge such processing as described in those providers' privacy policies.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the effective date above and, where appropriate, within the App or store listing.
